EastForm Advisory Limited

Eastform Advisory Limited is founded on over 29 years of senior leadership and delivery experience across the UK rail, bus, and commercial vehicle sectors. The consultancy draws together deep operational, engineering, and commercial expertise developed within operating companies, OEMs, engineering manufacturers, and complex multi-site transport organisations.

This experience includes holding full executive accountability for fleet performance, engineering delivery, production, safety, and financial outcomes across some of the UK’s most demanding transport environments. Eastform’s founder has operated at board, executive, and director level, leading large teams, managing regulated assets, and delivering change programmes where reliability, compliance, and customer impact are critical.

Early senior leadership roles within major UK bus operators included serving as Engineering Director for Go North East, with responsibility for a fleet of approximately 700 vehicles across eight operating depots. This role encompassed full delivery of the engineering corporate plan, significant capital investment programmes, and the development of high-performing maintenance facilities. Under this leadership, the business delivered major fleet and infrastructure investment, including a flagship state-of-the-art depot, proactive maintenance regimes, and industry-recognised standards such as IRTEC Workshop Accreditation+.

Subsequent roles within the rail sector saw responsibility expand to large-scale fleet production and maintenance operations. As Head of Fleet Production for London Midland and later West Midlands Trains, full accountability was held for the production, repair, maintenance, and presentation standards of DMU and EMU fleets across multiple brands. This included responsibility for all train care facilities, stabling locations, and engineering staff, ensuring consistent, safe, and reliable fleet availability day in, day out during periods of franchise transition.

At the executive level, Eastform’s founder went on to serve as Business Unit Director and later Chief Operating Officer for Gemini Rail Services and Alan Dick Communications based in Scunthorpe. As a board member, this role carried group-wide responsibility for operational delivery, financial performance, and growth strategy across rail vehicle upgrade, overhaul, modification, and decarbonisation programmes. This included leadership of market-leading hybridisation and alternative propulsion initiatives, positioning the business at the forefront of rolling stock enhancement and sustainability.

More recently, experience has extended into the electric vehicle and manufacturing space. As Operations Director at Lunaz, responsibility was held for establishing and scaling a new production facility, overseeing project delivery, health and safety, supply chain, productionisation, and financial performance. This involved creating a fully operational manufacturing environment capable of delivering high-volume, high-quality electric vehicle conversions.

Alongside this, senior contract roles with Wrightbus have included leading UK bus sales, introducing new platforms to market, and mobilising repower facilities designed to deliver rapid, cost-effective vehicle electrification at scale.

Today, through Eastform Advisory Limited, this depth of experience is applied directly to client engagements. Current assignments include senior engineering consultancy work delivered in partnership with Enigma Seven, supporting one of the UK’s largest bus operators to improve engineering consistency, productivity, and performance across multi-site operations.

Across every role, Eastform’s focus has remained consistent: practical delivery, accountable leadership, and measurable outcomes. Eastform Advisory exists to bring that experience directly to clients — bridging the gap between strategy and execution, and supporting transport organisations to deliver confidently through change.
